Targeted Scholarship Programs

Advanced Drainage Scholarship Program
With the support of Advanced Drainage, with sites in Eagle Grove and Tiffin (and headquartered in Hilliard, Ohio), ICF awards scholarships to students at the University of Dubuque. This is the 10th year of this special program.

AEGON Transamerica Foundation Scholarship Program
Because of its strong interest in the business community and in higher education, AEGON of Cedar Rapids provides $2,000 scholarships for students majoring in business at selected ICF colleges and universities. The AEGON Program has been in effect for 16 years.

American Trust Rural Scholarship
Thanks to the generous support of American Trust, this program awards four scholarships to students majoring in business management, accounting, finance or computer science. Students receiving the award must be permanent residents of Dyersville or Farley, Iowa and attending Clarke University, Loras College or the University of Dubuque.

Bank of the West Scholarship Program
Thanks to this bank’s generous support, last year ICF awarded Bank of the West Scholarships to one student at each of its member colleges and universities. This marked the 10th year of this special program.

DENSO International America Scholarship Program
This scholarship program awards grants to juniors or seniors at selected institutions who have demonstrated leadership qualities through involvement in at least one student academic-professional organization. The students must be majoring in business or engineering.

EMC Scholarship Program
Employers Mutual Companies (EMC) began this program 11 years ago to award $3,500 scholarships to students at selected ICF member institutions. EMC also plans to offer internship opportunities to scholarship recipients.

Grinnell Mutual Scholarship Program
The Grinnell Mutual Insurance Company of Grinnell created the Grinnell Mutual Scholarship Program in 1995, which enables ICF to award $1,000 scholarships to children of the company or affiliated mutual companies’ employees who attend one of ICF’s member colleges and universities.

Kemin Industries Scholarship Program
The Kemin Scholarship Program is intended to provide financial support to students that are pursuing a major in Science or Biology at any of ICF’s member institutions. Preference is given to students with a foreign language background. Recipients may also be awarded internship opportunities that could lead to future involvement with Kemin.

M. A. Ford Scholarship Program
ICF administers this program in cooperation with M. A. Ford. The scholarship program is available to children of any current employee who plans to attend one of ICF’s independent colleges or universities. The applicant is required to submit an essay on personal and academic background along with goals for the future. Awards are granted according to merit and financial need.

MidAmerican Energy Minority Scholarship Program
The MidAmerican Energy scholarship program makes awards for eligible minority students attending ICF’s member institutions. Winners are selected from students majoring in accounting, economics, finance or computer science.

Principal Financial Group’s Business Scholarship Program
The Principal Financial Group provides scholarships to students at ICF member colleges and universities. To be eligible for these scholarships, students must be majoring in finance, accounting, management, marketing, real estate or communications.

Principal Financial Group’s Information Technology Scholarship Program
The Principal Financial Group provides information technology scholarships to students at ICF colleges and universities. Recipients may also have internship opportunities that could lead to further opportunities with Principal.

Principal Financial Group’s Minority Scholarship Program
The Principal Financial Group provides scholarships to eight eligible minority students attending ICF’s member colleges and universities.

Stamats Communications Scholarship Program
Stamats Communications in Cedar Rapids started this program to provide scholarships to employees or their children at selected ICF member colleges. Internship opportunities are offered by Stamats to scholarship recipients.

U.S. Bank Scholarship Program
The U.S. Bank scholarship program makes awards for low to moderate income students attending ICF’s member institutions. A winner is selected from each college who is majoring in accounting, business management, finance or mathematics.
